DESCRIPTION:Registration Is Now Open! 								\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									ON WITH THE SHOW! CFT’s Music Theatre Intensive and Mainstage PerformanceCFT’s most popular program!  From audition to the final curtain call and all that happens in between\, students continue to stretch their performance muscles and hone their acting\, vocal and dance skills while rehearsing for a CFT mainstage musical!   Set in a safe and supportive environment\, students are encouraged to take risks\, step beyond their comfort level to continue to discover their capabilities as performers.  Students have the opportunity to work with professional directors\, technicians and designers and experience the ins and outs of a high-quality\, professional production.YOU VOTED AND IT WAS ALMOST UNANIMOUS!Ages 10 -17.  Rehearsals:  Wednesdays 6-8:30pm & Saturdays 3:30-7:30pm (two Sunday rehearsals as well).  Full schedule will be handed out at auditions.Auditions: By appointment.  Email:  connecticutfamilytheatre@yahoo.com to schedule. Returning student auditions:   Wednesday\, February 25\, 2026 5-8:00pm (10 minute appointments) Preparation:  One minute monologue and approx. 24 bars of song that shows vocal strength and range. Call Back Auditions:    Saturday\, February 28\, 2026 3:30-8:00pm (Mandatory attendance.  Students stay for duration). First Rehearsal:  Wednesday\, March 4\, 2026 *PLEASE NOTE:  There will be TWO SUNDAY rehearsals on the schedule.  Full production schedule handed out at auditions. No Rehearsals: April 11 & 15\, 2026 Tech Rehearsals:  June 1-3\, 2026 6-9:00pm Final Dress:   Thursday\, June 4\, 2026 5:30-10:00pm Pick-Up Rehearsal:  Wednesday\, June 10\, 2026 6-9:00pm (Subject to change is double cast). Performances:   June 5\, 6\, 7\, 12\, 13\, 14\, 2026 Entrance by AUDITION ONLY.  Prerequisite ACT ONE and ACT TWO (or equivalent experience).  Students who were previously accepted into the program need not do an entrance audition but are still required to prepare for an audition for educational/casting purposes. $495.00  / 12 Weeks\, 2-3 classes/rehearsals per week\, one week of tech rehearsals\, 6 performances. Support the program!  Each student/family is encouraged to sell 10 tickets and purchase or sell one business size ad. Please note:  There is a $50 *non-refundable audition fee/deposit included in tuition.  Deposit only option is for NEW STUDENTS ONLY.  Returning students should choose the pay in full option.   Audition fee/deposit must be received by new students to hold a spot in the program pending acceptance.  If accepted into the MT Intensive program\, the balance of $425 is due. *If a student is not accepted into the program\, you can use the deposit as a credit towards an alternative class.  A student will not be cast in the production unless fully registered (total tuition paid).  Returning students already accepted into program choose pay in full option only. Session ends with a two week run! *Student cancellations are for credit only.  By purchasing a class or camp registration\, you agree to the terms of our registration and cancellation policy. There is a 3% processing fee on all online registrations.  No fees for mail-in or drop-off registrations.
